How to Create an Account & Enable Auto DM with Facebook Login (Recommended)

Connecting your Instagram account to ReplyRush using Facebook Login is the most reliable way to run automation. This method links your Instagram Professional account through its connected Facebook Page, ensuring all permissions are granted for smooth DM delivery.

Step-by-Step Guide

Create Your Account

• Visit https://app.replyrush.com from your desktop or mobile browser, or open the ReplyRush mobile app.

• Click Sign Up.

• You can choose:

  • Single Sign-On using your Google or Facebook account, OR

  • Manual Registration by entering your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Password.

• If using manual registration, click Create Account. You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via email.

• Enter the OTP to verify and activate your account.

Prepare Your Instagram & Facebook

• Make sure your Instagram account is a Professional (Business or Creator) account.

• Link your Instagram to a Facebook Page you manage.

• Ensure your Facebook profile has Admin access to that Page.

Connect Your Instagram via Facebook Login

• In the ReplyRush dashboard, go to Integrations → Instagram.

• Click Connect via Facebook.

• A Facebook login window will appear. Log in with the Facebook profile that manages the linked Page.

• Select the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect.

• Select the Instagram account(s) linked to those Pages.

• Grant all permissions when prompted.

• After login and granting permission in Facebook/Meta, click Save.

• You’ll be redirected back to ReplyRush and see a Congratulations screen — you’re ready to set up Auto DM.

Enable Auto DM for a Post, Reel, or Story

• In the ReplyRush dashboard, open the left sidebar and select:

  • Posts/Reels for post and reel automation.

  • Stories for story automation.

• You will see your Instagram content listed.

• Find the specific post, reel, or story you want to automate and click the Link button.

• Choose your Trigger Type:

  • All Comments – send a DM to anyone who comments.

  • Keyword – send a DM only when specific words are used in comments.

• Choose your Message Type:

  • Template – use a pre-designed message flow.

  • Message – write a custom DM.

• (Optional) Enable Comment Auto Reply to also reply publicly in the comments.

• (Optional) Enable Sendback to send DMs later to users who commented but didn’t receive one initially.

• Click Save to complete the Auto DM setup for that selected post, reel, or story.

Test Your Setup

• From another Instagram account (not your admin account), comment on the linked post/reel or reply to the linked story. You should receive an instant DM — this confirms Auto DM setup is complete and working.

• In ReplyRush, go to Auto DM → select the enabled post, and you will see that 1 DM has been sent. This confirms Auto DM is active.

Troubleshooting

• DM not send

  1. Open the sidebar in ReplyRush.

  2. Scroll down to Connected Accounts and click it.

  3. Find your Instagram account in the list.

  4. Click the Reauthorize button to refresh permissions and regenerate your Instagram token.

  5. Once reauthorized, re-check your automation settings for the post/reel/story.

• Permissions missing

  1. Open the sidebar and go to Connected Accounts.

  2. Find your Instagram account and click Detach to remove it.

  3. After it’s removed, repeat the connection process from the start using Facebook Login.

  4. Ensure you grant all permissions when prompted by Meta/Facebook.
